I found this Visual Novel in the Downloads section of my Archive hard drive (I used to have a cron job to rsync my ~/Downloads/ folder to /Volumes/Archive/Downloads until I had to reinstall MacOS this year), and I found something called Violet Seabreeze Episode 2.html in that Downloads folder, dated around the Summer of 2019.
I have no clue where I downloaded this. All I know is that my Mac shows the date `Thursday, August 8, 2019` for "Created," "Modified," and "Last Opened," since Chromium browsers don't save the download source, at least on Mac.
I've already tried multiple routes of discovering where this came from, including multiple attempts at Gemini/Claude Deep Research, but absolutely no dice.
So I decided to post it on my personal website both because I hate when media is lost and because I want to know who wrote it. Maybe this isn't a good idea, I'll take it down ASAP if the author tells me to.
